About the Event
Our family friendly charity rodeo would not be complete without one of our most popular events, Mutton Bustin! Registration is now open, reserve your child's spot today. Slots are limited and will fill up quickly.
- 20 rider slots + 3 alternates are available.
- Entries are first come first serve.
- There is a $25 non-refundable entry fee.
- Entry fee includes general admission to rodeo for child + one adult.
- All contestants must check-in no later than 30 minutes prior to rodeo start time.
- You will receive a link to the waiver/release form in your confirmation email. Please complete and bring with you at check-in.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at check-in, complete the sign-up form, sign the general release form, and will be weighed at sign-up.
Official Rules
- There is a $25 entry fee for the contestant, this is non-refundable & non-transferable.
- The weight limit for eligibility is 35-55 pounds, fully clothed. All youth are eligible regardless of their residency if they meet the requirements. Weight will be determined by weigh-in at the time of the rodeo. Due to safety concerns of stock, there will be no exceptions to this rule.
- There will be 20 contestants with 3 alternates.
- All contestants will be provided with a helmet and safety vest at the competition.
- The contestant and ONE parent will be provided general admission to the performance/rdeo. You must come to the secretary’s office in front of the admission gate to receive passes and check-in.
- All contestants shall receive a score regardless of the length of the ride and shall be scored by the announcer and one or more committee members.
- ONE parent is allowed in the holding area per household.
- Grand prizes will be given to the contestant winner.
- The parent/legal guardian may appoint a stand-in for his/herself to stay with the contestant in the Mutton Bustin waiting area and go into the arena to assist the contestant in the chute. Parent/legal guardian MUST remain on the rodeo grounds.
- You must arrive no later than 7:00 PM or 30 minutes prior to the performance on May 25th or your slot will be forfeited.
